Dear Friends Happy New Year! A PROUD DAY

Dear Friends
approaches the new year, and 'no use denying it: There is no easy days ahead.
Cuts to Health, ticket increased for both drugs for specialist visits, salaries, wages and pensions that hardly allow us to get to the end of the month, and the economic and financial crisis that promises to be tough and durable.
Despite this, I want to reassure friends ostomy, the FAIS el 'ALIS, will defend the rights acquired and will endeavor to ensure that they have added others. To do this, but we need all of you: the more we will be less difficult relations with the institutions, the more we will be less able to ignore. Therefore, I take this opportunity to solicit your active participation in regional associations belonging to the FAIS, obviously first of all the ALIS
A great effort lies ahead in 2009: Organizing the World Day of the ostomy to be held in October, of this important event we will discuss later.
Nell 'heartiest greetings all good for 2009, Thank you for the "numerous requests" to the blog.

Parts Ducane Meridian

The day is ending, for me, is one of the happiest days and happy to have spent in recent times. Today, the 'ALIS offered a lunch in a Roman restaurant for members and friends more expensive.
We were not many, some were absent due to force majeure, while others have opted not to participate ... but we were all friends, friends who love and mutual esteem.
Lunch was excellent, the menu suitable for people with 'problemini':
Starter: warm muffins
Pastas: Fettuccine with porcini mushrooms - Risotto Cream of shrimp
Second
Side Mixed roast: roast potatoes, brush up chicory, lettuce
Dessert: Chocolate Mousse
wine (chosen by Nadia) Coffee.
We left the restaurant at 16.20 ... we were too well together, we did not want to leave. The ladies present (Floriana, Fortuna, Nadia and Neva) two of the gentlemen (Skizzo and Giuliano) have a surprise: we have made a gift of a beautiful bouquet of flowers to each of us, Dear friends of the blog, cos' more to say? We have not talked about 'our problem' but also of other things ... some of absent friends, but in the FAIS forum ... and if someone ringing ears ... here explained the cause :-)) and Aldo
Skizzo have indulged in taking lots of pictures, Rosario, Julian, I, and our union welcome guest, Sergio Mazzardo, we have laid the foundations for the future of 'ALIS ... and yes it is 'A DAY WAS REALLY PROUD!

DISABLED: UN RIGHTS AGREEMENT DOES NOT PREVENT ABORTION, DO NOT SIGN VATICAN

DISABLED: UN RIGHTS AGREEMENT DOES NOT PREVENT ABORTION, DO NOT SIGN VATICAN (ASCA) - Citta 'del Vaticano, 2 December -
The Holy See has not signed, and does not intend to sign,''the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with disabilities'''entry into force on 8 May this year.
refusal, already 'announced during the drafting of the Convention, it was confirmed today at ASCO on the eve of International Day of People with disabilities', promoted by the UN on the issue''Dignity' and justice for all of us''by sources of the Pontifical Council for Health Pastoral Care. ''Our position has not 'changed,''explained the Vatican department.
The UN Convention on the Rights of the disabled and 'the first human rights treaty of the third millennium and it' been approved by the UN General Assembly in 2006.
The Holy See has participated actively in the work for the drafting of the text, which lasted five years but in the end, and 'refused to sign it 'cause it does not contain an express prohibition against abortion.

The Convention, with its 50 articles, sets out in detail the rights of persons with disabilities.
It deals, among other things, civil and political rights, accessibility, participation, right to education, health, employment and social protection.
Above all, the Convention recognizes that a change of attitude in society is essential to enable people with disabilities to achieve full equality, where it says that this convention guarantees the right to abortion?? So
the refusal of the Vatican would affect the non-inclusion of a provision in which it explicitly declared the ban on women to abort disabled!
not comment in order not to fall foul language.
